Husband Meme

I am knew to the meme thing. I actually didn't know what they were until just a short while ago. I searched google and found a blog with a good explanation of what a meme is (in case anyone reading this doesn't know).

So with that in mind, I stole this meme from Juls over at The Clearing. I'm kind of afraid to fill it out, I'm not sure if I can answer all these questions correctly about my hubby. I know my dear husband reads my blog, so, John, if I answered any wrong, correct me please : )

The olive oil and tomato thing: When DH and I first moved in together (no we were not married) I wanted to make him a nice dinner. My brother was a chef, so I called him. I was also a vegetarian at the time, so I wanted something meatless. My brother suggested I just make a light homemade pasta sauce. He said all I needed to do was put some olive oil in a pan and throw in a can of tomatoes with their juice and throw in a few seasonings. Well, much easier for a chef to understand that than I. I guess I used a little too much olive oil. It was pretty oily. DH did manage to eat it, and at the time didn't say anything bad about it. but as time wore on, whenever I happen to cook a bad meal, it gets compared to "that oily tomato thing you made". I personally don't remember it being that bad, but to DH I guess it was, LOL.
