We know we're getting old when the only thing we want for our birthday is not to be reminded of it.

It's my DH's birthday today. A ripe old 55 years today. In case anyone wasn't aware, he is a tad bit older than me.
Last year I wrote out 54 things I love about my DH for his birthday. I'm sure they'd all be the same if I did it again, so I won't.
I know he reads this blog, even though he never comments. So, John, I just want you to know that I hope you had a great 54th year and I wish for only better things for the both us during your 55th. I Love You : )

Happy Birthday John!
Donna you have no idea how odd it is to me that your dh is the same age as my parents.
I think real age isn't a number but a state of mind. My dh doesn't act like what I think we (as 40 or younger) think of when we think of 55 year olds. I don't think I act like I'm 41, LOL. You'd probably have to meet him to realize he is probably nothing like your parents.
But your mom had you really young didn't she? So it's kind of an anomaly that she is only 55 and you are what, 38?
I agree. My mom is still very young, my dad seems older but he has some health problems.
I'm almost 38, bwhaaa, May 18th
There is a picture of mom and me on my facebook photos.
hey donna, tell john i said happy birthday!!!
